Welp, it’s that time of the month again…. The time when I deviate from my typical writing style, and focus on..”Drum Roll please!” Current events, and other ongoing things in our society. This is the part where I put my trigger warning. There has been too many people, that have turned into dainty little snow flakes. So if you’re easily offended, or react to content you may not agree with, like a vampire to sunlight…. Feel free to stop here and go no further.

Rain In The North East

I’m going to start with the North East. Where I live, we have seen rain every weekend since the beginning of April. Some weeks we’ve seen rain for four or five straight days. Although, in most cases the weather has gone something like this. Monday- Wednesday will be sunny and beautiful out. Thursday’s still bring decent weather, but by the time Friday comes around it’s raining. The rain lasts though the entire weekend. Only to be replaced by the shining sun, just in time for the start of the work week again….

Let me tell you, this gets old fast, and after over two months of it people are fed up. So this weekend, when the typical pattern didn’t occur I was thrilled. This was the first weekend since the beginning of Spring, where it didn’t rain. But guess what we did see…… All that shit air blowing down into the area from yet another Canadian wild fire.

Not sure what’s wrong with Canada, and their piss poor forest management, but I can make some educated guesses. Lets hypothesize a little shall we.

Oh Canada

Let’s be realistic, Canada has become a bastion of liberal BS in many areas of the country. I actually saw an article, reporting that one of the provinces just proscribed their “FIRST EVER” controlled burn. In the same breath, they blamed “climate change” for the fires.

OK Inspector….. If controlled burns have been used for decades to mediate wild fire concerns… Why are you only doing your first one now? Clearly a big part of the issue, is Canada’s piss poor forest management. Apparently they didn’t get the memo, on how to maintain their natural lands. So now other countries have to deal with their bad decisions.

Hey, here’s an idea. How about for every acre of land that is lost in the fires… They have to pay reparations to every place affected by their unnecessary air pollution…..

All kidding aside, besides the trucker protest that occurred during COVID. A large percentage of their population, lost their backbone years ago.

The Musk and Trump Drama

How can I say this politely. I don’t care, not one bit. It’s one the biggest distractions going on right now. First off, it doesn’t take much to notice you’re dealing with large egos. Also, I never trusted Musk. He’s a narcissist, one that seems unable to keep his dick in his pants too. Just my opinion of course.

I’m not sure why so many people get wrapped up in nonsense. They would probably have more fun watching Jerry Springer re-runs.

Congresses Abysmal Approval Rating

Didn’t it just dip below 20% recently? I’m going to have to double check that. But anyways it’s poor, very poor. Once again the Republicans have both the House and the Senate, and aren’t going much of anything. In fact, it should annoy every American… That they spend more time on vacation than actually working for the American people. Regardless of what party has control of the chambers.

I believe they are going to a spend only a couple weeks or so working in both June and July. And they will be on vacation all of August. I’m going to make a predication here, if this continues they will loose the House in the midterms. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they wanted to.

If they do, we will probably see the second half of the Trump Admin, full of nonsensical impeachment attempts again. Which will do nothing but piss off the majority of the American people. After all there is no ” Dastardly Deeds” impeachment clause in the US constitution 😂.

Humans are funny. Sad at times, but funny. I think it’s safe to say, that “The System”, well cease to exist when the consciousness of the population reaches a point in mass, where it realizes nothing really changes until they stop conforming to the system. Until then, there will be good things that happen, and bad bad things that happen. But the most positive changes in society won’t occur before hand.

Hell, we can be another 100+ years away from those type of changes. But personally I think we are a lot closer to it than that.

R.I.P. Pride Month

Have you noticed that we’re going into the second week of June… And in most places “Pride Month” has been low key. Again, It doesn’t bother me, not one bit. Personally, neither does who someone else likes for an intimate partner. If you’re an adult, and your partner is another consulting adult, then it’s all good.

Though I think most people have gotten tired, of having LGBTQIA+ thrown at them for a full month every year. In fact, it’s clear they have, just look at the backlash corporations have got in recent years. It’s no wonder, most of them are being much more low key this year.

Personally, do I want to see a parade, where grown men walk around with their testicles hanging down. Or seeing them pretend they are a human helicopter.. Nope… And that’s why I stay clear of the festivities.

The people who fought and died for the country so we can keep the freedoms we have. Only get one day a year. Veterans get one day a year. The founding of the county gets one day a year. Martin Luther King, gets one day a year. Why does LGBTQIA+ get a month?

Perhaps it’s a question we should be asking? Can you imagine the reaction from many people with pink or blue hair, and who are still wearing face masks……. If we celebrated, Memorial, Veteran’s or Forth of July for a full month? They would loose their shit, mainly because they are Pro-America holidays.

Ok moving on. I do enjoy stirring the pot at times though 😂.

This concludes my monthly current events post. It’s always fun stirring the pot a little bit. But seriously, sometimes it needs to be done. After all, writing is therapeutic. I’ll close on this. Everything in this post, is strictly my opinion or thoughts related to the topic at hand. It should be by no means, taken as a personal attack on anyone, or any other person’s world view.

And if you’ve read to the end of the post. Congratulations, you are most likely a fair and balanced person, and can read content that you may not agree with. OR you just agree with
